IFT-Nord is a non-profit organization. Core objective is the promotion of public health.

The psychotherapy training center of IFT-Nord is state-approved and applies a quality management system.

Research and prevention projects have been awarded multiple times.

IFT-Nord does not accept funding from the tobacco, the alcohol or the gambling industry.

IFT-Nord co-operates with many institutions. Including the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel, local and federal agencies for prevention and health promotion, ministries, health insurances, and international organizations like WHO and EU.
